History
The fourty-two-meter-high water tower was built in 1903–1904 by the architect František Schlaffer following project of the Office of the Royal Water City of Prague, and served as a reservoir of water for the lower part of Libeň for about sixty years. Up to 178 cubic meters of water came into its reservoir. It was decommissioned in the 1960s, and has long since been left untouched. In 1991, the tower became a protected cultural monument of the Czech Republic. In 2009 by a private investor decided to renovate it and return it to its lost beauty. Thanks to the costly redevelopment project, the tower turned into an atypical mansion with a maisonette flat right at the top of the tower.
Totally unique residence
